Formed in 1965, the PWSD #1 of Franklin County, Missouri office is currently located in the heart of the township of Krakow, Missouri along Highway A in Franklin County. The District provides water services for over 1,600 customer, of which, approximately 600 customer have sewer services furnished by the District as well.
PWSD #1 contracts with Alliance Water Resources, Inc. for professional services, operations, maintenance and day-to-day management of the District's water and wastewater systems. Alliance Water Resources, based in Columbia, Missouri, is a utility management firm that provides speciaty services to the water and wastewater industry. It's clients include minicipal water and wastewater operations, investor-owned utilities, water districts and not-for-profit utilities in Missouri and surrounding Mid-West.
